The countdown has begun in The Hague, with only a few hours left until the verdict for the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army is announced.

On the eve of the verdict, citizens from Kosovo and the diaspora traveled to The Hague to be present near the Special Court building during the announcement of the decision.

Interest is high in Kosovo, and beyond, where September 16 is expected to be followed with special attention. A projector has been set up in Skanderbeg Square in Pristina to broadcast the hearing live, while a large screen has also been set up in The Hague.

Meanwhile, this evening in The Hague, the "Waiting Hour" took place, the last activity before the day of the verdict.

The verdict hearing will begin tomorrow at 10:00, when the trial panel will make public the first-instance verdict for the four former KLA leaders.

Now, eyes are turned to The Hague, as family members, supporters, and citizens from Kosovo and the diaspora await the verdict after a long judicial process.
