The Fier Police Directorate has finalized the police operation codenamed "Properties", which led to the seizure of 19 real estate properties in Tirana and Durrës. The properties are linked to citizen Nikolin Gjolena, a member of a structured criminal group accused of drug trafficking.
This citizen, who was sentenced by the Special Court against Organized Crime (SCOC) to 12 years in prison for drug trafficking, had alienated these assets with a total value of around 2.5 million euros in favor of his relatives.
The operation, conducted in coordination with the Fier Prosecutor's Office and after an in-depth investigation, has led to the seizure of the following assets: 10 apartments in Durrës, 5 apartments in Tirana, 1 commercial unit and 2 garages in Tirana.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Investigation Sector of the Fier DVP is continuing investigations to identify and seize other assets that may have been benefited from the criminal activity of Gjolenë and individuals associated with it.

Pursuant to the decision of the Court of Fier, after the investigation carried out in coordination with the Prosecutor's Office of Fier, with the objective of tracking and confiscating the assets of the crime, the Sector for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes of the DVP Fier seized the assets of the citizen N. Gj., 36 years old, sentenced to 12 years imprisonment by the Criminal Court, for the criminal offense "Trafficking in narcotics", committed within the framework of a structured group criminal.
Specifically, 10 apartments in Durrës, 5 apartments in Tirana, 1 commercial unit in Durrës, 2 garages in Tirana and 1 building in Tirana were seized.
Investigations continue for the tracking and seizure of other assets that this citizen and the citizens connected to him may have benefited from the criminal activity.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
