The journalist of News24Osman Stafa has shared details from last night's incident that occurred today at the protest, as he was attacked by two people.
Staff, in the studio News24 claimed that it seems that everything was planned by the two people in question.
"I don't want to be news myself, but I want to report and make news. I wouldn't want to be in this situation, but this is the reality. We were at the Prime Minister's Office. The march of protesters started and we, along with my colleagues, stayed. While the crowd was from the City Hall towards the Unknown Soldier, we tried to get in front of the crowd. There we met two foreign journalists. On the 15th floor, two people attacked me; scoundrels, hounds, they attacked me directly. I told them; I am a servant of my country and how can I scold a person. I have not touched any of them. I cannot tell two people, to hold them accountable; why are you not in protest.
I think the incident was intentional. The people were concerned about what I do, they identified me as a journalist. The lady physically touched me, because I couldn't respond, but I went and filed a report. I have also gone to SPAK and the prosecutor's office several times to file a report against those who have done harm to Albania. I had no confrontation, the police accompanied me to file a report at police station no. 3. I will continue to do my duty. I am not intimidated and no one can shut me up! ", he said.
