Journalist Osman Stafa, invited to the lunch program on News 24, spoke about the threat he received a few days ago, after his denunciation that a company was polluting the Shkumbi River by taking inert materials for road construction.
He said that he had headed towards the Hotolisht area, in Librazhd, to verify and document with film footage the complaints of citizens regarding the removal of inert materials from the Shkumbin River, and after he finished, he was followed by a car with two people in it.
He said that the people escorted by the police were not the ones he had seen.
The journalist stated that he will continue to follow the case and is not afraid.

"I have received complaints about the massacre being committed on the Shkumbin River where inert materials are being taken to build the road.
This road was built in 2001 by a company from the Republic of Macedonia and the mountains and hills were not affected, why is it being affected now?
The reason for obtaining inerts irregularly is because they don't want to waste money and have found the simplest way to do so.
Residents need to be informed about the disaster and have become aware, they have brought me videos.
About 100 meters from the road is a mountain, after I filmed in Hotolisht I went towards Elbasan. I saw the trail where the road passes, where these companies dump inert materials to see and verify. Everything they take they dump in Shkumbin.
Near the "Balkan" hotel, I saw a truck that was taking inert materials and I wanted to record the act of taking inert materials with an excavator.
I have also filed it in the criminal complaint.
After a few seconds, a car drove in my direction; earlier it was 150-200 meters away from me so it could see my actions.

After they saw my act, they sat back and saw the television logo.
The car continued to follow me towards Elbasan, flashing its lights and getting very close.
I slowed down a bit to let them pass me, but they passed in front of my car. There are witnesses to the incident who saw the situation (reads messages).

The car stopped and I stopped too, backing up.
I saw two people, I was followed until I lost the car.
I notified the state police that I was being followed by a car.
At the police station I also learned who the car belonged to. The police took two people, but they weren't those people, it wasn't the big guy I saw.
Those people were brought in by the company, those people did not commit this mafia act, but the police say they were found in the car.
"It was not the people who committed the act who came to the Elbasan Police. I am not afraid, I will follow the case, because I believe, I have entered a path to fight injustice," he said.
