Democratic Party MP Ina Zhupa has raised concerns about the protest of Albanian students in North Macedonia, demanding an official reaction from the Albanian Parliament. Speaking from the floor of the Parliament, Zhupa said that institutions should maintain a clear stance on this issue, considering support for Albanian students abroad as important.

She also criticized the organization of the Diaspora Summit, emphasizing that this activity should have started with a balance sheet of the three previous summits and not turned into a propaganda activity. According to her, the lack of reflection and transparency on the previous results diminishes the importance of the summit and diverts focus from the real problems of the Albanian diaspora.

"I have a question regarding the protest of Albanian students in North Macedonia. The Parliament should officially react to the student protest. The Diaspora Summit should have started with what was done with the previous three summits, but you turned it into propaganda," he said.
