Analyst Ben Andoni has commented on the protest that has been taking place for weeks, saying that there is a strong spirit of dissatisfaction in the square and that citizens are demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Rama and his government. Andoni said on the show 'News24 Weekend' by journalist Megi Latifi that this movement has not yet transformed into a genuine political organization, but it is faced with a government that, according to him, is not responding.
He also praised the role of young people in this protest, focusing on the use of humor and satirical messages on social networks. According to the analyst, the protest may not last indefinitely, but it can serve as a starting point for other social developments. He emphasized that this protest should also be seen from a social perspective.
Andoni added that Albanian society needs protests.
"There is a spirit in the protest, where the protesters are demanding their resignation. This is a protest that has not yet become a movement, but they are faced with a government that does not react. Now it has begun to delegitimize the protest. The memes that young people are using are extraordinary, very strong. This protest is continuing, but the moment will come when it will fade away, but it will pave the way for new movements. Protest is more for anthropologists than for politicians. Whereas anthropologists look at the development of society in these conditions. There is great anger among the protesters for Albanian politics. We as Albanians need protests. We must keep it clean. When I made comparisons, I said; a small group of people benefit from the protests. We barely saw a protest that raised our emotions. Berisha had reached the limit, but in fact, the limit was crossed more with the socialist majority," he said.
