Journalist Fejzi Hajdari commented in an interview on "News24"the protest held in Tirana in support of Albanian students in North Macedonia who are demanding to take the Jurisprudence exam in the Albanian language."

He stated that the Albanian language is of vital importance for Albanians in North Macedonia, while adding that no Albanian political party in the RMV has taken this issue seriously.

"In every election campaign, there has been no Albanian party left without "solving" this problem. There have even been Albanian political parties that, during the campaign, sought a mandate to resolve the Albanian language. But if it had been resolved today, they would not be talking about this situation. But at least the students, with their voices and protests, brought it back and made the public aware of this issue. But the major and vital problem for Albanians today in the Republic of Macedonia is a law on the Albanian language, just like for Macedonian," he said, among other things.

He further underlined that students demand respect for the language law and added that a law is needed for the Albanian language and that it be equal to the Macedonian language.

"The Albanian political factor has not fulfilled the promise it has had since 1991. This is a problem that has been left to drag on from one government to another," he said.
