Journalist Ervin Koçi, guest on the show Studio24 - IN News24, commented on internal developments in the Socialist Party, focusing on the statements and positions of former Foreign Minister Elisa Spiropali.
Koçi stated that the Socialist Party has not held presidential elections since 2009, emphasizing that decision-making within the party remains centered on its leader.
According to him, the appointment of ministers is also done mainly based on the will of the party leader, which limits the space for internal competition and political rotation.
Commenting on Spiropali's positions, Koçi said that she is trying to build a profile and political capital within the party.
"Spiropali at this point seeks to build political capital that will be present in the future. I think he is seeking to build political credit," the journalist said.
