Security camera footage has been released showing the final moments of Nicolai Palamarciuc, a Moldovan-born salesman who was brutally beaten to death by his bosses in Turkey in September 2025. The footage was released as the trial of the gruesome incident that took place in an industrial area in the Başakşehir neighborhood began. The video shows four people, including the owners of the company where Palamarciuc, a father of two, worked, attacking and punching him. The victim is then thrown to the floor and forced into an elevator, which takes him to a room where there were no security cameras.

According to the case file, in that environment Palamarciuc was beaten for a long time and tortured in an attempt to force him to confess to a theft for which he was accused. The prosecution suspects that it was a trap set against him. The forensic report determined that the cause of death was lack of oxygen caused by pressure on the chest and neck.

A total of eight people have been arrested in connection with the case. In their initial statements during questioning, the suspects blamed each other for what happened. The victim's mother told Turkish media that her son had called her shortly before the attack, expressing his fear that something was wrong at work. "Mom, I feel very bad, something is happening at work. Everyone is discussing something, they are looking at me," he told her, according to the mother's testimony.

She said her son's fears came true a little later. "They suddenly attacked my son and took him to a place without cameras. Three people were beating him and fell on him, causing fractures in his chest," the mother said. Shocked by the incident, she added that Palamarciuc's two children have been left without a father, while demanding that the perpetrators face justice.
