The publication on social media of a video by the well-known social media personality, Genard Hajdini, showing his sister Sonida Hajdini in serious condition, has put the Ministry of Health and responsible state structures in motion.

Immediately after the footage was released, the social services of Administrative Unit No. 2, together with doctors from the Health Center and police officers, intervened to verify the situation and assess the woman's health and social conditions. According to the verifications carried out on the ground, no elements of violence were found, while it was clarified that the video was posted to attract attention on social networks. The footage was removed immediately after the police intervention.

Sonida Hajdini was previously hospitalized at the Mental Health Hospital and was undergoing outpatient treatment. Currently, she and her brother are hospitalized at the Tirana Psychiatric Hospital, where they are receiving more specialized treatment under medical supervision.

Meanwhile, the case has been referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action, while social institutions are expected to draft a long-term monitoring and support plan for both individuals, due to suspicions of exploitation of a person with disabilities.

THE MINISTRY'S REACTION
After the publication on the Instagram page of citizen GH, where his sister, citizen SH, was inappropriately shown, immediately the local social structures of Administrative Unit no. 2, together with the medical staff of Health Center no. 1 and the police officers of Commissariat no. 1, assessed the condition of citizen SH. During the interview, it was stated that the video was intended to virally follow the character himself and not contain elements of violence or malicious intent. The video was deleted by GH himself, after the immediate order of the police. The health structures also made it possible to inject health medications, since from the stay two weeks ago at the Mental Health Hospital in Tirana, he had been left responsible for outpatient treatment, which was provided by a caregiver appointed by the relatives of the two people.

Currently, they are hospitalized for a more specialized medical service in the psychiatric hospital of Tirana, while the competent authorities have referred the materials to the prosecutor's office, according to our recommendation. The structure of the NJNVR of Unit no. 2, together with the Directorate of Social Protection in the Municipality of Tirana and the Regional Directorate of the State Social Service of the Tirana District, will meet to draft a plan of measures for the continuous monitoring of two blood relatives (sister and brother), where support will also be requested from the competent authorities for further investigations, due to the suspicion of the consumption of the criminal offense of exploitation of a person with disabilities.
