A 58-year-old man has been arrested in Puka after being caught red-handed cultivating 105 narcotic plants on a public plot. During a search of his apartment, police found and seized a pistol with combat ammunition.

A case of cultivation of narcotic plants and a case of illegal possession of weapons were investigated.

The services of the Puka Police Commissariat, as a result of investigations conducted with proactive methods, for several weeks, to crack down on a case of cultivation of narcotic plants, finalized the operation coded "Tracing". As a result of this operation, the citizen was identified and arrested:
-T. Ll., 58 years old, resident of the village of Kodërbojë, Puka.
This citizen was caught red-handed in the village of Kodërboyje, on a plot of public land, where 105 suspected narcotic Cannabis Sativa plants had been cultivated, which were destroyed by burning.
Subsequently, during the search of the 58-year-old's apartment, the Police found 1 firearm, a pistol, with a magazine of combat ammunition.
The procedural materials were referred to the Shkodra Prosecution Office, for the criminal offenses of "Cultivation of narcotic plants" and "Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".
