"When we were founded, we faced a dictatorship. Today we have another dictatorship, based on drugs and theft," said DP leader Sali Berisha, as he delivered his speech at the ceremony organized for the 35th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic Party.
Berisha further underlined that "Democracy, family and Albania" are the main battles.
"Edi Rama, who we expelled from the DP, has today established the first and only narco-state in Europe. Edi Rama has killed the hope of Albanians with free elections. The reasons why we are fighting are fundamental. We are fighting to save democracy, the Albanian family, to save Albania because the rate of depopulation continues," said Berisha, adding: "No other opposition would have survived the unjust attacks that have been made. Several times we have celebrated December 11 without the party's symbols. But this anniversary of the founding of the DP is more special, because what we have achieved is a lot. The DP belongs to the democrats, until a year ago no support for the injustices that were done to us, today 7 international resolutions that denounce the farce of Rama. Rama, Soros and his mafia declared Sali Berisha non grata. But today the one who made the decision has been declared non grata in his own country. They showed us the grass, but today they are being investigated for corruption. Lubia laughed a year ago when I told her "You have the fate of Lal Vjedhësi, and now you can't enter parliament. Today I tell Edi Rama, after the lubi, it's your turn," he said.
