The citizens of Poliçan have come out this evening to protest against the Territorial Reform, which erases Poliçan from the map as a municipality. With banners in their hands, which read: "Poliçan is not affected", "Don't kill our future", "Harram i paçi Poliçan votes", "Sheep deputies, don't vote for the reform", etc.

The residents of Poliçan have gathered in the square in front of the city cinema, protesting. They have unanimously asked the government not to touch the municipality of Poliçan, which they have voted for for years. The residents asked that this city not be touched, as their future and that of their children is at stake.

The chairman of the Socialist Party of Poliçan, Erjon Zylyftari, has publicly resigned from the Socialist Party, stating that what the government is doing to Poliçan is an injustice and a great shame.

In a sign of indignation over this action, the citizens of Poliçan burned Socialist Party cards in the square.

During the protest, residents signed the entire petition not to touch the Poliçan municipality.
