The police have provided details regarding the operations in Fushe Kuqe and Dobraç where Elvin Merlika and Alket Xhixha were arrested.
The two most wanted men were hiding in a villa near the river, while two firearms, two shotguns, two police radios, a bulletproof vest, and combat ammunition were found and seized with them.

Following the successive operations conducted by the Directorate of the Special Operational Force in the Criminal Police Department of the State Police, for the localization, capture and detention of wanted citizens, based on information obtained through operational means, the police operation codenamed "Operation 75" was finalized.
During the high-risk operation, in difficult terrain in the Fushë-Kuqe area near the river, in an apartment, the services of the Special Operational Force Directorate made it possible to identify, locate and detain two citizens with a high social risk, specifically:
A. Xh., 42 years old, resident of Fushë-Krujë, and
EM, 47 years old, resident of Mamurras, declared wanted, after the Criminal Court of Kosovo has imposed the security measure "Arrest with imprisonment" on them, for the following criminal offenses:
"Providing the conditions and means to commit murder, in special collaboration with the criminal group";
“Structured criminal group”;
"Commitment of criminal offenses by structured criminal group and criminal organization".
During the search, special operational forces found and seized as material evidence 2 pistol-type firearms inside muff bags, as well as 2 shotguns, along with combat ammunition, without a permit.
During the search, two police radios and a bulletproof vest were also found.
Work continues to document and find other evidence.
