During his visit to Durrës, Prime Minister Edi Rama was greeted with cries of "Rama go away" from some citizens affected by the floods in this region.

As Rama left the city hall, after meeting with residents whose homes are at risk from the TID project, several citizens waited for him in the square in front of the city hall, attempting to approach his vehicle and ask to talk about their concerns.

But they were stopped by the police, where 5 of them were escorted to the police station.

Along with the citizens who protested, there was also the Democratic MP of Durrës, Igli Cara, who attempted to remove the residents from the hands of the officers.

Residents are demanding that procedures for compensation for damages be expedited and are warning that protests will continue if there is no concrete action from the government.
