The head of the DP parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, has reacted to Prime Minister Edi Rama's stance on the protest held by the opposition yesterday. Bardhi, through a post on 'Facebook', emphasized that the determination of free people cannot be extinguished with water and pepper or even tear gas.
REACTION OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PARLIAMENTARY GROUP OF THE DP, GAZMENT BARDHI
Edi Rama today spoke like all dictators who want to hold power by force. His calmness and security have disappeared due to fear and panic. Even the sadistic reaction of the police last night against free people, citizens, deputies, minors, reflected Edi Rama's fear of losing power.
Edi Rama is afraid. Fear that people will no longer be silent. Fear that they will not retreat. Fear that the opposition will not retreat.
It is an unwritten axiom: when the government begins to act with anger, hatred and hostility towards political opponents, it is sensing the end. But I assure Edi Rama that the determination of free people and the opposition cannot be extinguished by pepper spray, tear gas or rubber batons.
The protests will continue, because nothing can stop change.
Tear gas, police suits, rubber batons, Edi Rama's barbaric violence cannot stop time. His time is running out.
