Divjaka continues to protest against the SP project to merge the municipality and become dependent on Lushnja. Identity, history and demographics show that Divjaka meets the criteria better than some other municipalities that will not be affected by this reform. This is the reason why the citizens of Divjaka have been protesting in the square for 45 consecutive days.

Although they are few in number, the Divjakas say they will win this battle despite Prime Minister Rama's decision to 'merge' them with Lushnje.

At the end, like every night of these 45 nights of protests, a march took place through the streets of the city with chants of "Divjaka şalki" (Divjaka, the city) and other slogans.

On Monday at 16 pm, the Divjakë municipal council commission and representatives of the municipality will have an extended meeting with citizens to express their views on the territorial reform, as the municipal council voted against this reform since early August in the extraordinary meeting held for this purpose.

The data and requests of the citizens of Divjaka and the administrative units will be forwarded to the assembly and the Mazniku commission in the coming days!
