Analyst Edvin Kulluri has stated that the European Parliament's report on Albania highlights serious problems in several key areas, including politics, organized crime, the economy, corruption, administration, elections, and pressure on justice.

Guest on the show "Studio24" in News24, Kulluri was critical of the way the report has been interpreted by the government, ironizing statements that have described it as a "good report."

"The report raises several concerns, including the public administration that is in a difficult situation today... The report mentions several problems, the difficult situation, but also the compromise destroyed by the socialist government... to the destruction of the elections, where the administration was involved in the elections. The state is not separated from the administration, it is a great shame," he said.

According to Kulluri, one of the most serious findings is related to European Union funds.

"Or the EU case, a very big scandal, it is the first time that the Albanian government has robbed the EU money, the first case that EU money has been stolen," he said.

He added that the report also raises concerns about organized crime and the lack of functioning democratic institutions.

"The report on trafficking and organized crime, Albania is nowhere near anything... down to minorities," said Kulluri.

Another strong point, according to him, is the functioning of the Assembly.

"Parliamentary democratic dysfunction is the most serious finding in the report. Where Parliament no longer controls the government, but the government controls Parliament," he declared.

Kulluri also raised concerns about pressure on the justice system, citing SPAK and GJKKO as institutions that, according to him, face verbal pressure and a lack of funding.

Finally, he also mocked the government's reactions.

"I don't know where these people live or why Minister Hoxha says 'the report is good', it looks like Alice in Wonderland," he concluded.
