The State Police has conducted another operation in Shkodra, striking a group suspected of distributing narcotics in the city.
The operation, codenamed “Target Group,” was carried out by the Narcotics Investigation specialists of the Shkodra Local Police Directorate, in cooperation with operational forces and the “Eagles.” It was based on operational information about drug sales, mainly in areas frequented by young people.
During the intervention, the police discovered a rented premises in the "Manush Alimani" neighborhood, which was used for hiding, packaging and distributing narcotics. Two citizens, NF, 18 years old and KZ, 20 years old, both residents of Shkodra, were arrested in flagrante delicto, caught with suspected doses of cocaine and cannabis. Meanwhile, their associate, LA, 23 years old, who is suspected of having rented the premises and organizing the activity, has been declared wanted.

The Narcotics Investigation Specialists of the Shkodra Police Department, in cooperation with the Operational Support Section and the "Eagle" Special Force, based on information provided about the sale of narcotics in the city of Shkodra, organized and finalized the operation codenamed "Target Group".
As a result of the operation, citizens NF, 18 years old, and KZ, 20 years old, both residents of Shkodra, were arrested. They were caught red-handed by the Police services, in the "Manush Alimani" neighborhood, with doses of suspected narcotics cocaine and Cannabis Sativa, which they possessed with the intention of selling, mainly to young people.
Also, their associate, citizen LA, 23 years old, resident of Shkodra, was declared wanted.
This citizen had rented a premises in the "Manush Alimani" neighborhood, where, together with the two arrested citizens, they hid the narcotics and prepared them in doses for sale.
As material evidence, a large quantity of doses of suspected narcotics, cocaine and Cannabis Sativa, hundreds of pharmaceutical bags for their packaging, 5 electronic scales, 2 mobile phones, 1 cold weapon (metal baton), 1 motor vehicle used for this criminal activity and a sum of money suspected to have been obtained from it were seized.
Work continues to capture the wanted citizen and to fully document this criminal activity. The procedural materials were transferred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Shkodra, for further investigative actions.
