Snowfall returns to the Korça region.

The prefecture announces that there have been problems with the electricity supply, while a similar situation exists with the roads.

On the Korça–Ersekë and Zëmblak–Goricë–Bilisht–Miras axes, there was snowfall during the night. Winter tires are recommended on these axes.

 

Regarding the Qafë Thana customs, it is learned that the circulation of trucks has been stopped because snowplows are working on the entry segment towards Macedonia. This intervention will be for a few hours, which has so far led to the suspension of trucks, but with the completion of the intervention by the snowplows, circulation will resume for these heavy tonnage vehicles.

Electricity situation
OSSHE – Korça Regional Dispatch reports that the following areas are currently without electricity:
Feeder Potgozhan, NST Guri i Kuq without power, about 500 rural subscribers in the Trebinje and Bishnicë areas.
Feeder 8 Rehova NST Ersekë, without power in the Rehova area, 40 subscribers.
Vithkuq NST Rehovo feeder, Mazreka area without power, 3 rural subscribers.
Feeder 9 NST Lozhan without power in the Mesmal area, 50 rural subscribers.
Feeder 4 NST Mollas without power in Pepelash area, 5 rural subscribers.
Feeder 22 NST Korça without power, 3 private subscribers and antenna in Cardhak (Stefani).
Feeder JO6 NST Leskovik, partially in operation without power, 2 subscribers in the Germenj area.
Feeder 19 NST Korça partially working, without power in Dardhe area, 140 subscribers.
Feeder 3 NST Ersekë without power.
OSSHE teams are on the ground and are working to normalize the electricity supply as quickly as possible.

Road situation:
ARRSH – Center-East Directorate reports that:
On the Korçë–Ersekë (K.3) and Zëmblak–Goricë–Bilisht–Miras (K.6) axes, there was snowfall during the night. Cleaning and salting are ongoing, and winter tires are recommended.
In Lot 7, on the Libonik–Rëmbec–Plasë and Korçë–Voskopojë axes, snowfall has reached up to 8 cm, accompanied by strong winds. The axes have been cleared and salted, traffic continues normally.
In the segments k/Boboshticë–Dardhe and k/Lapidari Podgorie–k/Podgorie–Liqenas, snowfalls are accompanied by strong winds. In the Dardha segment, the snow thickness reaches over 50 cm in some places. Work is underway to clear and salt the roads, and the use of winter tires and chains is recommended.
On the Maliq–Kufi Gramsh and Ersekë–Leskovik–Tre Urat axes, there was snowfall during the night and work on cleaning and salting continues.
