Teachers have announced another protest today in support of students, who continue to demand the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
A large number of professors have come together to express solidarity with the students and support their cause. The organization of the protest is expected to begin in front of the Polytechnic University of Tirana.
Educators have also condemned police violence against young people during the last days of protests, expressing concern about the way the situation has been managed.
In support of the students' demands, the lecturers have also undertaken an initiative through a petition, calling for the voices and demands of young people to be heard.
Earlier, the teachers' union also reacted publicly to the situation created during the student protests, expressing concern about the developments and condemning what it describes as police violence against protesters.
