The civic movement against the government continues today in Tirana, where the 53rd consecutive protest is expected to be held with the main demand for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and the removal of the government. As in previous days, the protest is expected to start at 19:00, at "Skënderbej" Square, where the march towards the Prime Minister's Office will then continue.

Organizers have called for mass participation, stating that the mobilization will continue every day until their demands are met.

For 52 consecutive days, numerous citizens have gathered in the capital, protesting a series of issues that, according to them, harm the public interest.

Among them are objections to the investment in Zvërnec, the law on strategic investors, the Mountain Package, as well as changes to protected areas and cultural heritage.

During the protests held so far, there has been no shortage of calls against the government and the political class, while protesters have demanded profound political and institutional changes.

Another rally is expected in front of Parliament on Thursday, the day when the last plenary session of this parliamentary session takes place.
