As the country has been involved in massive protests for 39 days, demanding Rama's resignation, the leader of the "Mundësia" party, Agron Shehaj, called this civic reaction a revolution. Invited to the 'Lunch Program' in News24 with Ola Bruko.
Shehaj said that the protests are a historic clash between Rama and the citizens. He said that for the first time since the 90s, the people are demanding the removal of this political class.
"Government representatives, who should be listening to the protesters, accuse me of why I go to the protest. I have been going for 40 days. I am more than welcome. I discuss with the protesters. Those who cannot approach the protest are the subject of dissatisfaction. We are dealing with a historic clash between a corrupt prime minister and the citizens. These citizens want the removal of this political class, not only Rama. These young people here are not looking for a job. Here we are beyond that, they are protesting not only against Rama, but also for the lack of healthcare or education. The lady, who has become deputy prime minister, should remember that there are two previous deputy prime ministers who have been indicted. Be careful, because she may suffer their fate," he said.
