A special atmosphere was created at the protest, as hundreds of participants turned on their cell phone lights, illuminating the boulevard and accompanying the speeches given from the podium.
Among the messages conveyed, one protester called on citizens to intensify their response through forms of civil protest. Referring to historical figures, he stated that the protesters are determined to continue their efforts and that there is no room for retreat from the cause they have undertaken.
"Once upon a time, Alexander the Great burned his ships to say there was no going back! We are all here with one goal, to overthrow the system. Revolution! My call to the miners, to the call center workers, boycott, start civil disobedience," he said.
