Roberto Cavalli has become a father for the sixth time at the age of 82 with his 38-year-old partner.
"Sandra is fine, and the baby was born a week ago in Florence. He is beautiful and I was very emotional when I saw him after his birth," Roberto Cavalli told Italian magazine Novella 2000, referring to his 38-year-old partner, former Swedish Playmate Sandra Nilsson.
As he has revealed, his newborn son will be named Giorgio, as his father was called, who was killed by the Nazis shortly before the end of World War II.
"His name will be Giorgio, like his grandfather, my father, who the Nazis killed in the Cabrilla massacre when I was four years old," said the Italian designer.
Roberto Cavalli had his first two children, Tommaso and Cristina, from his marriage, in 1964, to Silvanella Giannoni, whom he divorced 10 years later.
Roberto Cavalli's future wife in 1980 was the Austrian designer, Eva Maria Düringer, with whom they had three children, Robert, Raquelle and Daniele.
The couple separated in 2010 and since 2014 Roberto Cavalli has been with Sandra Nilsson.
