A serious incident occurred yesterday in Pogradec, where a 69-year-old woman attempted to end her life.
According to information, in neighborhood no. 1, the citizen with the initials Sh. H., a resident of the village of Starovë, is suspected of having attempted to drown in the lake in a serious psychological state. She was rescued in time by passersby, who immediately intervened to pull her out of the water.
The elderly woman received first aid at the Pogradec hospital and then left for her apartment.
Authorities are working to fully clarify the circumstances of this event.
