A serious incident occurred this morning in Lëpushë i Kelmendit, Malësi e Madhe, where a 40-year-old man lost his life after allegedly falling into an abyss.
According to preliminary police information, at around 10:52, blue uniforms were notified of the incident, where the citizen with the initials FS, around 40 years old, was suspected of having fallen into an abyss in the village of Lëpushë.
Immediately after receiving the notification, the Police services went to the scene, where they determined that the 40-year-old man, as a result of the injuries sustained from the fall, had lost his life.
The investigation team has also arrived at the scene, which is carrying out procedural actions to document the event and clarify the circumstances in which the fatal fall occurred.
Investigations are continuing to fully elucidate the incident.
