The leader of the Mundësia Party, Agron Shehaj, has shared an interesting moment from the proceedings in Parliament, after a strong clash with former minister Olta Xhaçka. Shehaj described this moment as a test of his perseverance and the difficulties that engagement in the Assembly brings.
"If I have one characteristic, it's persistence. In parliament, you face all kinds of MPs."
Shehaj recounted a behind-the-scenes incident regarding this clash, where a majority MP approached him after the incident and complimented him on his stance. Shehaj did not reveal the MP's name, indicating that this action could have been a provocation, but called this moment an example of events that can happen in Parliament.
"When I clashed with Xhaçka, a member of parliament from the majority approached me and extended his hand. He told me to compliment you on what you did. I won't reveal his name. I had a prejudice, because when you're there, anything that doesn't happen could also be a provocation."
