Former MP Ervin Salianji was on the ground today in the Dragostunja area, near the damaged bridge on the Elbasan-Korça axis, reacting to the situation that has isolated the southeast for two days.
In a video published on social media, he states that the damage to the structure was the result of interventions in the riverbed for private gain, undermining the bridge's foundations.
According to Salianj, this is not a natural disaster, but the result of corruption and mismanagement of infrastructure.
He further emphasizes that any damage to road axes is proof of government failure and demanded responsibility for the safety of citizens.
