A knife incident occurred this afternoon in one of the most frequented areas of the capital, where a 39-year-old man was injured as a result of a momentary conflict.
According to preliminary data from the Tirana Police, the incident occurred at around 18:15, at the entrance to the Tirana Castle, near the pedestrian zone. During a conflict, citizen BD, around 39 years old, was injured with a cutting tool.
The injured person was quickly transported to the hospital to receive the necessary medical assistance and is under the care of doctors, out of danger to his life.
Immediately after receiving the notification, police services arrived at the scene and are combing the area with the aim of identifying and apprehending the persons involved in the incident. The investigation team is continuing its work to fully clarify the circumstances of the conflict and legally document the case.
