New details have come to light from the serious incident that occurred this afternoon in the "Vasil Shanto" neighborhood in Shkodra, where a person was injured with a knife inside the Polyclinic premises.

As a result of intensive controls and rapid investigative and operational actions, specialists for the Investigation of Serious Crimes, in cooperation with the services of the Shkodra Police Commissariat, have made it possible to locate, capture and arrest the suspected perpetrator and his accomplice.

The perpetrator of the injury, citizen AF, 18 years old, resident of Shkodra, has been arrested. The police have also arrested his father, citizen AM, 53 years old, who is accused of being an accomplice in this crime.

From the investigations carried out so far, it is suspected that father and son, in collaboration with each other, attacked and injured citizen VK, 32 years old, with a cutting tool (knife), an incident that occurred within the premises of the city's Polyclinic. The injured person is currently in hospital, under the care of doctors.

The following criminal offenses are being committed against 18-year-old AF:

-“Intentional murder”, attempted, committed in collaboration;

-“Unauthorized production, possession, purchase or sale of cold weapons”;

-"Disturbance of public peace".

Meanwhile, his father, AM, 53 years old, has been charged with the criminal offense of "Intentional Murder", attempted, committed in collaboration.

According to the Shkodra police, in connection with this conflict, it was previously possible to prevent another possible criminal event. The Police Services arrested in flagrante delicto the citizen AK, 41 years old, who is the brother of the injured VK.
