High temperatures have swept the country, reaching up to 39°C in urban and coastal areas today.
Meteorologist Hakil Osmani from Meteoalb, in a statement for News 24 said the heat wave will continue until Wednesday and Thursday.
A slight drop in temperatures of 1-2 degrees Celsius is expected over the weekend. There may also be brief showers in isolated areas.

In mountainous areas, we have increased air temperatures, causing the maximum to be close to 32 or 33 degrees Celsius. Not only today, but also the week will have high temperatures. Until Wednesday and Thursday we will have high temperatures.
Starting from Friday until the weekend, we have a slight drop in temperatures. The values will be high, but we will have a temperature drop of minus 1 or 2 degrees Celsius during the weekend. There will also be showers in isolated areas for a few minutes. But overall the weather will be with high temperatures.
