DP MP Saimir Korreshi has commented on the protest that will be held today in the opposition.

In a conversation with journalist Ola Bruko on the lunch program on News24Korreshi said that expectations for today's protest are high, adding that 100 vehicles are expected to depart from Lushnja.

He said that the DP is financially unable to enable the Democrats' trips to Tirana, so they will have to pay for their expenses out of pocket. Among other things, the Democrat stressed that the crisis is felt a lot in Lushnja, while claiming that there is no hospital in that city and no services are provided.

"The police find reasons to scare the protesters. Those who have made up their minds to come to Tirana are not afraid. Until yesterday, it was confirmed that the price of oil has also increased, they will come by cars and buses. People are also being held back by the price of fuel. The DP does not have the capacity to provide transportation. Today, those who come to Tirana pay for their own fuel and come to the protest. There are almost 100 vehicles hired from Lushnja to come to the protest. The desire to come is great to participate. I have messages from citizens who want to come. There are no institutions in Lushnja. There is no court, prosecutor's office, NFA, Environment, Tax. We have them in Fier. Here, the basic things are missing, money in your pocket. This is also felt with the fall of the euro. Even immigrants have so many opportunities. It feels like they are making ends meet. Let's talk about a hospital, there is none. This is the most dramatic thing. Or schools. Investments are mediocre, demand is zero. A shopping center that we had here burned down because we didn't have fire extinguishers. And the ones we had go to deliver drinking water to Fier. We have a municipal hospital, not because it depends on the municipality, but because it offers a small service. That's why I called on the Ministry of Health to change its name, to make it Regional. We want to be part of the EU, but we still don't have electricity or water! Rama and Balluku in a binomial, we don't expect to overthrow them today. The DP is there, the anger is not only of the militants, but also of the free, ordinary citizens, the gray part. With one motive, if a person has two lek more than 2 years ago, they should stay, but if they feel that they are suffering worse, because the prices of oil or the basket are more expensive," he said.

Focusing on the script, Korreshi said that the protest will return to speeches. "The citizen voice will take its place, they will be given their own scripts, but without clashes. They will be supervised. After the speeches are over, the situation will be in the hands of the citizens," he said.
