An hour before the start of the protest called by the opposition, dozens of militants gathered at the DP headquarters, while the State Police mobilized a large force of officers, around 1350 police officers, in the square in front of the government building.

As reported for BalkanWeb, the journalist News24 Osman Stafa said that increased security measures are observed in front of the Prime Minister's Office, which appears to be "armored" for today's protest.

"The police have taken measures if protesters throw Molotov cocktails, "armoring" the door of the Prime Minister's Office. Snipers have been placed on the Prime Minister's terrace," said journalist Osman Stafa.

On the opposition side, preparations for the protest have begun, with a podium set up in the square in front of the Prime Minister's Office where speeches will be given.

Today's protest is considered very important by the opposition, which, with today's organization, opens the season of protests until, according to them, the overthrow of the government and the removal of Rama from power.
