From Genc Burimi
Even if the number of protesters increased tenfold, Edi Rama would never leave on his own. No autocrat has left power of his own free will. Not even Erdogan, who had against him, in addition to the people, the army and the judiciary.
It takes a “deus ex machina” to overthrow an anti-popular regime. This is coming to Albania’s aid: America. Agamemnon: “He who lives by the sword, dies by the sword.”
In the absence of an autocrat removing himself, two paths remain theoretically and practically: violence from within, as exemplified by the Maidan revolution in Ukraine in 2014, or uprooting from without, as exemplified by Maduro. The advantage of this option is that it spares unnecessary unrest and the loss of innocent lives.
Albania is moving towards this second scenario, where instead of a helicopter, the US is sending SPAK. Here's the context. Donald Trump cannot be pleased at all that, because of an amateur dictator like Edi Rama, his daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared are becoming memes all over the planet.
This is terrible even for a "simple" father, and even more so when it comes to the most powerful "father" in the world, who today finds himself completely powerless to stop the rivers of mud and planetary ridicule that his daughter is enduring.
Wasn't it Edi Rama himself who justified not going to Davos a few months ago because, according to him, Donald Trump had entrusted his daughter to wait for him and take him for a walk on the Albanian Riviera?
The little sultan of Albania took on an extremely difficult mission towards the "God of the world." The latter's anger today towards Edi Rama is on the scale of the global humiliation that the Trump family is suffering due to the disastrous management of the Sazan-Zvernec file by the little Albanian sultan.
How can one imagine, even for a second, that Trump is capable of interfering with Israeli justice for a friend like Bibi, or with Brazilian justice for another friend like Bolsonaro, and the American president would not lift a little finger to wash away the humiliation inflicted on his family?
The sequel is a script for cartoons. SPAK, which was asleep after March 12 and did not deign to return to the Assembly for the arrest of Balluk, despite the formidable file it had, magically awakens from its lethargic sleep in the wave of protests in Tirana.
On the same day, as if by magic, the Berisha file, which was sleeping in Washington even after Trump's return to the White House in January 2025, is unblocked. Without waiting or understanding, Berisha is acquitted of all the accusations of the former Biden administration and is preparing for a visit to the US at a time when Washington itself has time to deal with the visa blocking of one of the most media-focused referees on the planet at this moment. Berisha even more important than the World Cup for the Americans!
The next stage: SPAK will, with the gentleness that characterizes it when taking orders, remove Edi Rama from the "socket" of power and the prime minister's chair.
The Trump administration will make his task as easy as possible by declaring the Prime Minister of Albania persona non grata, just as it was legally possible for the former Biden administration to declare the former acting Prime Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Fadil Novalić.
The way is opened for the new Albanian interim government, socialist or technical, for new elections. In function of the self-organization capacity of the protest, the Americans will either wait for the new “Boulevard” party to enter the elections, or they will encourage the holding of elections as soon as possible, without waiting for “Boulevard” to be ready.
The idea, of course, will be that the new force that will lead Albania will be staunchly pro-American.
This guarantee exists today with the Democratic Party, there are still question marks with the Socialist Party after Rama's blunders with the Trump family, and there is a lot of uncertainty with "Boulevardi" about what political force might emerge from it: pro-American, pro-European, or neutral, because the term "pro-Western" doesn't mean much at this moment of EU-US divorce.
Conclusion: Edi Rama, who survived in power with the power of America, will die politically and criminally at the exit door of power, but also with the power of America.
If this scenario comes true, it is only being realized thanks to the Homeric power of the Boulevard that woke up even the Cyclops across the Atlantic. Europe will only have its eyes to cry over how, with such shortsightedness, it gave the autocrat Rama a 10 on May 26, voting for "Ibar".
But this is not the only mistake of Europe, which still has a lot to learn from Uncle Sam...
