DP leader Sali Berisha held a media conference today, where he focused on several issues, from media censorship to the SP campaign and the unethical approach chosen by the head of government, according to him.
Asked by journalist Osman Stafa about the launch of investigations by the Special Prosecution Office into the Llogara tunnel affair, Berisha stated that Minister Belinda Balluku is one of the darkest figures of corruption in the country.
The leader of the Democrat Party also mentioned another case, that of the Tirana incinerator, where he said that no investigations were conducted on Balluk's orders.
Osman Stafa: Balluku has been deemed untouchable even by the judiciary. News about the launch of investigations into the Llogara tunnel. Do you have any ideas?
Sali Berisha: As for what she represents in the history of this country, I think she represents one of the darkest figures of corruption.
The Tirana arsonist, 130 million euros, went to court for ridiculous sentences from SKAP. 2-3 directors who had signed were sentenced.
If the supervisory authority under Ballukun's control, none of these people should be held accountable, SKAP could not take these people on in any way, because if they took them on, they would either become paid prisoners, Belinda would pay them millions, or they would not show that Belinda did not leave us to do the supervision. And that the money was given because Belinda took it, at the very least. I say that Rama took the money, but Belinda, knowing that Rama and Veliaj were taking part of the money, kept quiet. This for 5 years in a row. So that Llogara tunnel is like Nesti Angoni's job. She had to report every month.
