The Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK) has closed the investigations involving former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj in the Elbasan incinerator case.
Ahmetaj has been officially charged with the criminal offenses of "passive corruption", "money laundering" and "hiding assets".
Meanwhile, official charges have also been communicated to his cohabitant, Erjola Hoxha, as well as his ex-wife Albina Mançka.
