SP Councilor in the Tirana Municipal Council, Alfred Muharremi, invited to the show Studio24 -, commented on the latest developments regarding the seizures announced by SPAK regarding the AKSHI issue.
Former director Mirlinda Karçanaj, as well as Ergys Agasi and Ermal Beqiraj, are involved in this case.
Muharremi stated that anyone who has abused the trust given by the Socialist Party and has been involved in corrupt matters is facing justice today.
According to him, the current results are a consequence of the justice reform undertaken by the socialist government, which has enabled the crackdown on corruption at higher levels.
He emphasized that for the first time, concrete measures such as the seizure of assets and monetary values are being seen on a larger scale than before, considering this as an indicator of the strengthening of the rule of law in the country.
"Whoever abuses the trust given by the Socialist Party today, whoever has broken it and has dirty their hands in corruption matters is receiving an answer from an organization. This socialist government has made this reform in justice that is fighting this corruption today and today we have for the first time the seizure of assets or monetary values more than before," he said.
