The year 2026 has arrived! Albanians celebrate the change of years, as the clock hands put an end to the days of 2025.

In Tirana, many citizens, taking advantage of the relatively high temperatures despite winter, awaited the change of years in Skanderbeg Square.

2026 arrived at the fireworks spectacle prepared by the Municipality of Tirana.

A concert preceded the turn of the year in Skanderbeg Square, where the most famous Albanian singers took to the stage.

Undoubtedly, the 10 to 15 minute fireworks show made this night unforgettable, while the police are on standby to maintain order and peace. The New Year's celebration is one of the most traditional holidays that brings together family, friends and colleagues at a table. News Agency BalkanWeb, wishes all Albanians wherever they are: "Happy New Year, 2026!".
