Elbasan A 38-year-old man has been arrested by police after stealing 3 gold pendants from a jeweler and threatening the owner.

According to the investigation, it has emerged that the 38-year-old has previously been convicted of crimes against the person and property.

"As a result of rapid investigative and procedural actions carried out within the framework of the coded operation "Gold", following a report of a theft at a jewelry store, in the "Namazgja" neighborhood, the services of the Elbasan Police Commissariat arrested and handcuffed the citizen: -BH, 38 years old, resident of Elbasan," the police statement said.

This citizen is suspected of having stolen 3 gold pendants from a jewelry store in the "Namazgja" neighborhood on 25.03.2026.

So, the procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further actions.
