Argentine striker Lautaro expressed his happiness after scoring in the World Cup semi-final against England.

"It's a very strong emotion, very strong, really. I've always dreamed of scoring this goal since the first time my father bought me football boots."

Lautaro was so emotional that he had to pause for a few moments before continuing: "To my mother, who, when I left for Racing, never stopped making my bed. For me, this means more than a goal or a final.

"To my children, who changed my life. They made me slow down and appreciate everything I'm experiencing. I'm a grown man now. I'm a man, I enjoy life. I dreamed it, I swear. I told Aleki (Mack Allister) I was going to score and I told Faku Medina I was going to come in and win the game.

"We will face an opponent (Spain) of exceptional quality, undefeated in 37 matches, with excellent players. Now is the time to rest and recover as much positive energy as possible," concluded Lautaro.
