Two people were killed Thursday, April 7, by at least one attacker in downtown Tel Aviv, Israel. This is the fourth such attack in two weeks in this country.
Some of the shootings were reported to have happened on Dizengoff Street, at the same time one of the streets with the most traffic in this city. According to initial reports, one attacker has been killed and the second is on the run.
The police have called on the residents of the area of the attack to stay in their homes. "Don't leave your homes. Do not put your heads outside the windows. Get away from the balconies", the Police told Channel 13 television.
Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett is said to be being briefed on the situation at army headquarters in Tel Aviv.
