Democratic Party MP and at the same time one of the most active voices for European integration, Jorida Tabaku, has concluded a three-day visit to Germany at the invitation of the German government, where she held meetings at the German Foreign Ministry, the Bundestag, the Chancellery, as well as with representatives of German business and politics.

In the video published on social networks, Tabaku emphasized that during the discussions the main focus was the European integration process, the challenges faced by Albanian citizens and the obstacles faced by businesses in Albania.

According to her, the main problem remains the lack of legal certainty, weak law enforcement and corruption, issues that directly affect both foreign investments and the quality of life of Albanian citizens.

"The main problems faced by Albanians and businesses are related to the law, law enforcement and the fight against corruption," said Tabaku.

The democratic MP also praised Germany's role in the European integration process of Albania and the Western Balkans, describing Berlin as the main supporter of this process and the engine of the Berlin Process.

"Germany has been the main defender of this process and the main driver of the Berlin Process, doing this for Albania and for Albanians," she stated.

Tabaku underlined that European integration is not simply a political debate, but a process that directly affects the lives of citizens and the economic future of the country.

"The integration process is the only process that will change Albania," said Tabaku.

During her visit to Germany, she also held meetings with the Committee on Foreign Policy and European Affairs in the Bundestag, business associations, and important German representatives, where she discussed Albania's economic and geostrategic potential in a rapidly changing Europe.

According to Tabaku, Albania can become a serious partner for European investments and industry, but this requires real reforms, a functional market economy, fair competition, and institutions that work for citizens and entrepreneurship.

At the end of a three-day visit to Germany, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs where we discussed the integration process, the main problems that Albanians face, that businesses face, are certainly related to the law, related to law enforcement, the fight against corruption.

But the most important thing is the stance of the German government. Germany has been the main defender of this process, the main driver of the Berlin Process, and it does this for Albania and for Albanians, considering that integration is the most important project.

These topics are certainly political topics, but they are also topics of the lives of Albanian citizens, because the integration process is the only process that will change Albania.
