The Mayor of Kavaja, Fisnik Qosja, and the Democratic Party MP, Klevis Balliu, have conveyed messages from New Jersey, shortly before the start of Sali Berisha's meeting with American Albanians.
Qosja, through a video message, said that Albanians from different areas of the United States gathered at the event to welcome the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, whom he described as a "triumphant" and a "hero."
According to Qose, the meeting aims to convey a message of unity of the Albanian diaspora and serve as a moment of political mobilization for, as he put it, "the overthrow of Edi Rama's regime."
"Albanians have gathered to welcome Berisha as a triumphant and hero," Qosja said in his video message.
Meanwhile, DP MP Klevis Balliu described Berisha's reception from the Albanian diaspora as extraordinary and emotional.
Balliu expressed that this meeting brings, according to him, "the return of hope for a different Albania", while also appreciating the role of the Albanian diaspora in the development and future of the country.
At the end of his message, Balliu called for unity, saying: "Let's all go together towards a sure victory!"
