In hundreds of bars in Tirana, television screens remain open at News24 and citizens follow the developments of the protest being held in front of the Prime Minister's Office. The photos sent to us by viewers show the great interest in a civic movement that began after the violent events in Zvërnec and that is growing in size every day and receiving more and more support.

Since the first day of the protest last Sunday, News24 has been on the ground broadcasting live, bringing to the public the voices of the protesters and the dynamics of a protest that is expanding day by day.

Among the demands articulated by the protesters are the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama, amid accusations of lack of transparency, corruption and arrogance in governance. A year ago, News24 faced state attacks and pressures precisely because of its critical and independent reporting. Today, a year later, the television continues to remain the main point of reference for thousands of citizens seeking real-time information and full coverage of events.

Views from the capital's venues, where the screens are focused on broadcasting News24, are a testament to the strong connection that this television has built with the public over the years.

The interest in following the protest has not been limited to television screens. Live broadcasts of News24 are also being widely followed on YouTube and social networks, where thousands of citizens inside and outside Albania are being informed in real time about developments. Albanians in the diaspora, from Europe to the United States, are closely following the reports, commenting and sharing the content, turning the protest and its media coverage into one of the most followed topics of recent days. The trust of viewers and their continued support remain the greatest strength of News24, to the television and its journalists who continue to stand by the citizens and by the truth.
