Iran has announced that it will not send a delegation for talks to Pakistan as long as what it calls a "maritime blockade" continues.

The news was reported by the Iranian Tasnim News Agency, which cited sources close to the Iranian negotiating team.

According to the report, the Iranian side has stated that “as long as Donald Trump’s announcement of a naval blockade on Iran remains in force, there will be no negotiations.” This stance comes at a time of heightened tensions between Tehran and Washington, where diplomatic discussions on resuming dialogue have remained uncertain.

Iranian authorities have not provided additional details on possible conditions for returning to the negotiating table.
