An earthquake with a magnitude of 4 on the Richter scale was recorded in the early hours of the morning in the maritime area of eastern Mani, in the regional unit of Laconia in Greece.
According to the Geodynamic Institute of the Athens Observatory, the seismic tremor occurred at 04:29, while the epicenter was located 7 kilometers west of the Gerolimenas area, in Laconia.
Authorities say the earthquake had a focal depth of 17 kilometers. So far, there have been no reports of material damage or injuries from the tremors.
