A priest who claims to have visited hell has revealed what it was like, admitting he wouldn't wish it on his worst enemy.

In 2016, priest Gerald Johnson suffered a heart attack and was briefly in a coma. During this time, Johnson claims to have visited hell and, apparently, unexpected music was playing there.

While heavy metal music is known to be sometimes used as a tool of 'torture', it wasn't Metallica who were playing in hell.

According to Johnson it was Rihanna's music that was being played - specifically her song 'Umbrella'.

Speaking on TikTok, Johnson explained exactly what he saw down there.

“My spirit left my physical body and I thought I was going up because I thought I had done so much good in this life and helped so many people and basically made decisions that were godly decisions. Actually, I went down. There was a section in hell where music was playing and it was the same music you hear on Earth, but unlike on Earth, it was being sung by demons. It was some of the same lyrics that we hear here, I knew that on Earth a lot of the lyrics, music and the songs are inspired by demons. Every lyric of every song is there to torture you for not worshiping God through music when you were on Earth.”

Among the songs he says he heard demons sing as a means of torturing people was 'Umbrella' by Rihanna, while the hell dwellers also had Bobby McFerrin's 'Don't Worry, Be Happy' in their repertoire.
