Prime Minister Edi Rama, at a conference held today, spoke about the investment in Zvërnec, saying that the investment does not stop.
"Most Greeks don't go to sleep at Costa Navarino, but the Greek people benefit from the income it brings. 25% of that country's economy comes from luxury resorts. One night at a resort generates much more economic value for the community than 1 nights at a low cost. And since we're going to Montenegro with the president, it's off to the same start, it's had the highest wages in the region for years. Tourism supports 1 in 4 jobs. The increase in the number of tourists is the main reason for the growth of the economy.
This success comes from luxury tourism, where ordinary Montenegrins do not go, but from which ordinary Montenegrins have higher salaries. When a tourist pays 100 euros a day, those who host them earn something. When a tourist pays 2 thousand euros a night, local businesses around them earn and in the end they earn pensions. They can say why do we need an airport when we do not have planes. Investment does not stop, but I am open to talking… you remember that when we talk.
