The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has issued harsh accusations against Prime Minister Edi Rama and Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, describing them as the country's biggest thieves.

During a live conversation with his followers on social media, the opposition leader said that the majority is using the power of the cards in parliament to become a shield for criminal and corrupt activities.

"This government, like no other government in Europe and the world, has proven that it not only steals from Albanians, but its thieves Rama and Balluku are above every law in this country. That is why they used the 83 crime mandates to protect major criminal businesses. A government that protects crime loses its legitimacy. It represents crime and deserves to leave power as soon as possible," said Sali Berisha, among other things.

Berisha also commented on the new territorial draft, where the SP proposes the merger of 15 municipalities. According to Berisha, Rama's goal is to depopulate the country and fill it with citizens from Asian countries.

"This has brought a strong reaction from the residents, from the reduced municipalities. Edi Rama, with this sultan-like centralization, wants to have all power in the palm of his hand, he wants to continue the oppression of Albanians and the filling of Albania with citizens taken from Asia," Berisha declared.
